______________________________________________________________________ ************************ The Elder Scrolls IV ************************ **************************** - OBLIVION - **************************** ****************************** BETHESDA ****************************** ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mod Name: Adventures Gear Version: 1.7 Author: Ceano Contact: ceano@home.se ______________________________________________________________________ Thanks To: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bethesda: for this great game "OBLIVION". Aridale: "Portable Tent, Fireplace and Bedroll" SJ_Bee: "Backpack Mod" (portable sack) Daeron: "Stool of Imersive Wait" wz_: "Tripwires" DarkMonk: "Enhancing Aridale and SJ-Bee's original script's" Axebane: "RealHunger v2.5" (Originall Author: Dominic Watson) ______________________________________________________________________ Description: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This mod adds a portable bedroll, campfire, tent, stool, Cooking Pot, loot sack and 3 tripwire's to Tertullian Verus at Three Brother Trade Goods in the Imperial City. There is also an "Alt ESP" that gives you the gear for free the first time direct in to your inventory, but you still can by the gear from the vendor if you lose something. It contains bug fixes and tweaks of the original mods as well as new things. I have re textured the tent and bedroll - done new icons - new look for the loot sack, tent and bedroll bag - new fireplace and more. I'm using Aridale's original bedroll script. ______________________________________________________________________ This is how you use the gear: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Tent: Press the shift key and left click on the tent to drop the tent bag on the ground, place it as you want and click to set it up. Sneak and click to pick it up. When you set up the tent outside cities you get an map marker "My Camp" so you know were you have your camp site and so you can fast travel to it if you use that. - Bedroll: Press the shift key and left click on the bedroll to drop the bag on the ground, place it as you want and click to set it up. Stand and click on the bed to sleep, sneak and click to pick it up. - Loot Sack: Press the shift key and left click on the sack to drop it on the ground, stand and click to open it up and sneak and click to pick it up. All items you have in the sack when you pick it up is not disappearing, You can also just click on the sack in the inventory to open it up direct if you are selling stuff. The sack calculates the weight of the stuff you put in to it and add it to you, so you cant carry any more then you could before (it is 100% bug free). - Stool: Just left click on it in the inventory then chose the time you want to wait then close inventory, you have also some options that you can configure for the stool there. - Campfire: Press the shift key and left click on the campfire to drop it on the ground, place it as you want and click to set it up. Stand and click to light or put out the fire, sneak and click to pick it up. You have to put out the fire before picking it up, but you get a message that will tell you that if you try to pick it up when the fire is burning. - Cooking Pot: Just click on the cooking pot in the inventory to cook food, you don't need wood or flint like in Axebane's mod. I did it this way because I thought it was weird to have the fire in the inventory when cooking food, so now it is up to you how immersive you are. Ether you cheat and just cook with out campfire or you do as it is intended, set up camp and light campfire to cook. (See section "Hunger and Cooking Pot" for more information). - Tripwire's: Stand in the place were you want to set it up, open the inventory and just left click on the tripwire. After a enemy has trigged the trap you can ether go in sneak and click to reattach the rope or stand an click to pick it up. ______________________________________________________________________ Hunger and Cooking Pot: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- RealHunger was written by Dominic Watson. Edited by Axebane. - All meats found on creatures are Raw. (including Rats and Crabs) - Raw meat doesn't restore hunger, It must be cooked. - Existing food items can be eaten as normal (fruits, grains, cheese etc). - Can make Breads from many items. (White Bread, Wheat Bread, Corn Bread, Potato Bread, Blackbone Bread) - Can make Salads from Lettuce + Carrot & Tomato, Radish & Onion, or Tomato & Garlic. - All food items renamed to A Food - Foodname. (This makes all Foods appear before Potions in the Inventory) - When you place your mouse over a Food, it shows how many units it will restore. You must eat every so often to avoid stat drains. The mod will tell you when you need to eat. If you open your menu and go to Character Screen (F1) it will tell you how many units of food you need. Equip the Cooking Pot and you can cook meals. These meals will restore more hunger than the ingredients would on their own. Raw meats also weigh less after they are cooked. Eat a Raw piece of meat and nothing bad will happen, but the mod will tell you that you should have cooked it first. ______________________________________________________________________ Version History: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.7 Incorperated Axebane's "RealHunger v2.5 mod" so now you cook food in the cooking pot (See section "Hunger and Cooking Pot"). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.6 - Changed vendor to Tertullian Verus at "Three Brother Trade Goods" in the Imperial City. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.5 - Fixed so you don't get the stool automatically in the inventory in the esp there you have to buy all the gear. - The wrong displayed icon on the screen regarding the loot sack fixed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.4 - New stool texture. - Made two versions of the mod, the original one there you have to buy the gear from the vendor at Three Brother Trade Goods. And one that gives you the gear for free the first time direct in to your inventory, but you still can by the gear from the vendor if you lose something (the free stuff esp is located in the "Alt ESP" folder). USE JUST ONE OF THE ESP's! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.3 - The Cooking Pot now works as an Mortar & Pestle if you click on it in the inventory, when you put it on the ground and activate the pot it still works as a container. - I have rearranged the map structure so before installing this new version remove all folders from your Oblivion/Data dir that came with the old version. (i had to do this to get some order with icons, textures and meshes) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.2 - Improved "Tripwire" script from wz_'s "Tripwire version 1.5". - I have added some new tripwire textures and icon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.1 - Added a Cooking Pot (works like a container). - Moved the icons to: textures\menus\icons\clutter\campgear ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.0 - First Release. ______________________________________________________________________ Installation: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Copy all files to your Oblivion/Data folder, activate the esp/mod in the "Data Files" list when you start the game or in OBMM. If you are using a previous version of "Adventures Gear" remove all stuff you have in the loot sack and make a new save, close the game and uncheck "Adventures Gear.esp in your "Data Files" list and start up the game and make a new save and close the game. Copy the new files to your Oblivion/Data folder and write over the old ones, activate the esp/mod in the "Data Files" list when you start the game or in OBMM. Play and have fun! ______________________________________________________________________ Issues / Conflicts: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- There is an glitch in the game that makes the flame from the campfire to appear from the side instead of the top of the logs, then just stand and click on the logs to put out the fire and click again to re light it again (you may have to do it more than one time). If you use any of the mods in this list deactivate them in your Data Files list, or you will get conflicts. You will not need them anyway. Aridale: "Portable Tent, Fireplace and Bedroll" SJ_Bee: "Backpack Mod" (portable sack) Daeron: "Stool of Imersive Wait" wz_: "Tripwires" DarkMonk: "Portable Campsite" Axebane: "RealHunger v2.5" (or any other food mod) The plug-in should not invalidate your old saved games. But I make no guarantee, like when using any new plug-in, it is highly recommended that you make a backup of your saved game. ______________________________________________________________________ How to Uninstall: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Deactivate the mod in Data Files or in OBMM, and remove the files from your Oblivion/Data folder. Remember to remove your stuff from the Loot Sack before you uninstall this mod, or you will lose everything in it. ______________________________________________________________________ Permissions / Legal Stuff: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- If you want to use this in your mod, contact me and the original authors for permission.
