Welcome to BikeLiTH

We are a group of 22 Mechanical Engineering students studying our final year at the Division of Machine Design, Department of Management and Engineering (IEI), Linkoping University in Sweden.

During 2009, in a project course, we built two concept vehicles named CroLiTH & TrecoLiTH. Both powered by electricity.

7-9th October 2009 we entered the Formula Electric & Hybrid Italy contest with our two teams/vehicles. After the last day of competition we had left all other competitors way behind. Besides the overall victory (CroLiTH) and overall second place (TrecoLiTH), CroLiTH also won the pursuit competition.

CroLiTH is a two-wheeled motocross motorcycle with a chassis from DBR Sweden. Its a low weight bike with great performance.

5 students have built this vehicle.

The other students have been working with TrecoLiTH, a three-wheel vehicle that tilts while turning. It is also prepared for installation of a hydraulic brake recovery system.
