The Angels is an American girl group founded in 1961 in Orange, New Jersey. In the beginning, the group consisted of Linda Jansen and the sisters Barbara Allbut and Phyllys Allbut. Linda Jansen was replaced in 1962 by Peggy Santiglia. They got their biggest hit in the US with My Boyfriend's Back in 1963, but had had minor hits before, such as' To and Cry Baby Cry. After My Boyfriend's Back there were no more big hits for the group. The group has also recorded records under the name The Starlets.
