Tiger-Heli action (Originally published on GameFaqs.com, reproduced with the original author's permission)

This game featured much of the same qualities as a regular shoot 'em up but with a twist to keep game players into the game.

Graphics: 7/10
This game graphics weren't of the highest quality and not really done to its fullest. The main sprite used was a helicopter and was done pretty well but mostly around the average area. There were many areas to explore with somewhat animated well but not to the fullest. The enemies would attack from all sides and even from behind which made it a new feature back then. The screen however would slowdown immensely and even skip frames of animation when too many enemies were on the screen. This game isn't too back in this deparment though.

Music/Sound: 7/10
Was clear done and nicely set up but didn't present anything new or impressive besides being average. The sound would have the same problems as the graphics and slow down sometimes because of so many sprites. The sound wasn't too bad though with nice effects and average clarity. The way the bullets sounded was pretty original but also pretty annoying but then again are most types of shooters annoying. There really isn't much more say on this category but it is mostly average.

Replay Value: 6/10
Well this part isn't too good and there isn't anything to do after you beat this game. Some find this game fun like my friends and some don't like me. Most games like this end up sitting there for years to come and this game is no different. The lack of originality besides the fact that you are piloting a helicopter does add much to this game. The helicopter isn't first person either and is just like any other action game such as Iron Tank.

Gameplay: 8/10
This game wasn't new to the shooter's genre but the new idea of using a helicopter seem to sell this game well. The helicopter didn't control any differently that a jet or a plane and seem unrealistic to move so agile and quickly. The controls were somewhat smooth but definately workable to an extent. Nothing really new here at all and even some of the enemies seem to be a bit over used such as when you had to fight the giant submarine. The game was still fun to play though as any shooter would be.

Overall: 7/10
An average game to sum up the game. The high qualities didn't cover up the low qualities too well but still managed to be a playable game. The graphics where above average but the slowdown brought the score back down. Anyone who saw the back of the box before they played the game would have been sold at the quality but unfortunately it didn't prove true. The sound was well orchastrated but didn't seem very new or inventive compare to other titles in the genre. If you are looking for a good game this is it but not all too good. The cost of this game doesn't really cost too much either and you won't be disappoint for the price that it is at.

Reviewer's Score: 7 / 10
