G-27 and G-7

Bremen

We, the Finns and Swedish racers, left the track after the race and our plan was to drive to the hotel Zum Grünen Jäger, close to Puttgarden on Sunday evening.

As you might recall we sat in a lot of queues outside Bremen travelling to Uden. Now the same thing happened again outside Bremen due to some road construction. For more than two ours we drove slowly managing a whooping 12 Km/h in average.

The Finn's decided to keep on motoring while the Swede's gave up and pulled of the "track" and found a hotel.
The queue actually ended where the Swede's turned of and the Finn's could travel on in a no speed limit pace.

This is what we found outside our hotel.

This is what we did instead of sitting, queuing outside Bremen.

This is far better than eating potato chips in the car.

It worked out fine for the Finn's who managed to reach Zum Grünen Jäger not too late and they also managed to get a dinner.

Next year

2002 we will go to Seinäjoki for the G-27 and G-7 races. Seinäjoki can be reached by train from Helsinki or by flight either to Vaasa or to a small airport in Seinäjoki.
There might also be car ferries from Germany up to Helsinki and then you have 3.5 hours of car drive to Seinäjoki.

They are usually good in informing racers so look out for more info and reserve time for the race.

See you there.
