Qualifying
Antti Immonen won the qualifying with a huge margin. I don't have the results but if my memory is right he drove a 1.74 lap.
Second placed was Lasse 1.90. Third place P-G Falk 1.91 and fourth E-P Söyrinkä (?)
Marko looks scared before the race.
He should. He was the only driver
using a steel chassie.
Antti, from a middle lane, took the lead 127 in front of Kimmo123 and Marko 118. Lasse on lane 1 (red) turned 109 and Yly on 8 turned 99 laps.
In the second heat Antti and Yly were the fastest turning 123 laps. Lasse 121. Marko 116 and Kimmo 193.
Antti is now leading with 250 laps. Kimmo is second on 236. Marko third on 234 and Lasse fourth on 230.
Third heat and Antti has huge problem on lane 1 turning only 58 laps. Jari Portinen did 123 laps. Lasse 121. Marko 114 and Kimmo 108.
Lasse now leads on 351 in front of Marko 348, Kimmo 344, Juha 343 and Jari 338.
Fourth heat Kimmo, now on lane 1, turns 42 lap. Jari has also a lot of problem 72 laps. Lasse 111 and Marko 110.
Halfway. Lasse 462. Marko 458. Yly 445. Jari 410 and Kimmo386.
Fifth heat. Yly, on lane 1, 92 laps. Marko 123. Jari 118. Kimmo 117 and Lasse 108.
Marko has now taken over the lead on 581. Lasse 570. Yly 537. Jari 528 and Kimmo 503.
In the sixth heat Marko drivers fast and turn 117. Kimmo 110. Lasse breaks a motor and turn 102. Jari on lane 1 gets 37
Standings are with Marko in a lead 698. Lasse 672. Kimmo 613.
Second but last heat. Kimmo 111. Jari 110. Marko 106 on lane 1. Lasse with a short visit to the pits 94.
Before the last heat Marko looks set to take home the win. 804. Lasse 766 and Kimmo 724.
