SSC Kvällsrace

Monday, 15:th of April and race evening.

The field consisted of 15 drivers and the track was well prepared as always. I came late so I don't know if it's Rickard Lundh who we should thank or if it was a joint effort of those that came early.

Qualifying was fast but slightly slower than last time but the winner was the same guy again. The qualifying winner, Micke Eskilsson won with almost 1/10:th of a second.

It was tight between places 6 to 9 who would go to the fastest A semi. Last race winner, Lars Åberg, missed the A semi.

One of the youngsters, Jens, got a second chance when the time system failed and did very well turning a 4.667 lap.

Main B

In the main Nicke and Kihlén took an early lead. It was close all the time but in the fifth heat Kihlén plugged in his controller wrong and lost some laps.

Main A

Lars Åberg, Rickard Lundh and Marcus took an early lead and in the second heat Marcus went in the lead alone but it was tight behind. Early in the third heat Marcus got kicked in the ninety and lost a lot of laps while his car was stuck under the bridge.

Anders Lattermann got a bad start due to hitting a hand on the straight but after that he got better and better.

The total point leader, Rickard Lund, was in real problem after the fourth heat but a good fifth heat saw him back in second place and he finally took a third place but it was all close behind.

The early leader, Marcus, retired with a gear failure after a crash.
