SSC Kvällsrace Monday, 29:th of April and race evening.

The field consisted of 15 drivers and the track was well prepared as always. The track felt somewhat stickier than the last races but it was also sprayed somewhat closer to the race.

Qualifying was the best seen ever if we look to the whole field. To be in the top 6 you needed to drive faster than 4.333. Down in 14:th place the time was 4.65!
The big news this time was that qualifying was not won by Micke Eskilsson, he came second, but Mats Hummel..

Main B

IIn the main Nicke took an early lead. Leif Boman passed Nicke and had the lead for a few heats until Nicke fought back in the end for the win. Torbjörn Lundkvist had a lot of pinion problem.

4.Hans Kihlen 204.80

Main A

Rickard Lundh took an early lead. In the second heat Micke Eskilsson went in the lead with Mats Hummel third. In the fourth heat Micke extended his lead in front of Rickard.

Lasse had been fourth early on but started to climb back in the third heat.

Torgny drove well but found himself into difficulties with an ill handling car. Well, when the heat was over he noticed that he had no brake in the controller. The brake cable had fallen out.

Before the last head Rickard had a one-lap lead ahead of Micke and Lasse.
Ending on Red for Rickard was not the ticket for a win today.
Micke and Lasse started almost side by side. Lasse got a few good laps early on and got almost a half lap lead but Micke fought back a few cars length lap by lap the last minute and a half but was unlucky being involved in a collision. Otherwise they would probably been almost side by side again when the head was over.
