Lasse's slotpageSSC Kvällsrace Monday, 27:th of May and yet another race evening.
I thought that the field should be larger this time but maybe we are getting to close to the summer. Qualifying was almost like normal. Slightly slower maybe and with Lasse Åberg doing a better qualifying than normal but not good enough and Mikael Eskilsson not winning. Qualifying1. Mats Hummel 4.178 4.221 QuartersIt has for a few races been a rule that it's needed approx. 146-147 laps to reach the Main A. Main BThe B-main was won by Torgny Lundmark with a very respectable lap total. Both Torgny and Torbjörn ran a pace which would have given them good chances in a A main. It was close racing early on then the race was separated into the two groups with Torgny and Torbjörn fighting for the lead and P-J, Leif and Lasse fighting on their own and then Juha climbing back after have a tire problem.
1.Torgny Lundmark 228.00 Main ALasse Åberg, on red, took the lead right away from the start followed by a trio, Micke Eskilsson, Anders Lattermann and Rickard Lundh. Just behind Rickard Nicke Lindblom followed and then a small gap to Mats Hummel. There were some crashing here. Probably a little bit more than in Main B. These positions did not change much throughout the race. |

The next race will be the last one in the series before the summer. It will also be the last one with the current motor formula, 16-D.
After the summer break G-12, C-can motors will be used.
There will be one more race after the last one! Where 16-D´s will be used and that is a qualifying race to pick which 10 drivers that can race the invitation race that will be held after the summer.
