Quarter finals
Quarter D was won by Douwe Banning (great) 441, Juha Yli-Sipola was second 440. In third Leo Hongisto 437 and Esa Pekka Söyrinki 419. These four moved up. Out was among others Peter Krcl.Quarter C saw Petteri Pirhonen winning 439, Atte Hietalahti 432, Pekka Sippola 426 and Vladimir Horky 422. Here another top name was lost, Vlado Okali.
Quarter B was won by Lasse Åberg 447, Mikael Silén 442, Zdenek Benes 436 and Risto Olkonen 432.
Out, close behind was Jari Porttinen also 432 and Veli-Matti Kantamaa 431. These two and Risto fought hard the last heat.
Quarter A saw Mario Schöne win with 456 followed by Gugu 447, Marko Pirinen 445 and Kimmo Rautama 445. Now the track was really fast.
Semi finals
In semi B Juha drove 681. Douwe 675. Leo 668 and Horky 651.
Semi A Mario 672. Kimmo 666. Silén 661 and Gugu 640.
Main
Line up for the main
Horky took the lead right away. We also had the first crash already on the straight just a few meters after the starting line. Strange.
Horky did a 140 lap heat followed by Silén and Kimmo 139.
In the second heat Horky blew away all opposition by doing a 149 lap heat. Douwe was here the second fastest guy in this segment with a 144 heat.
Horky 289. Kimmo 280. Douwe 275. Mario 274. Leo 271. Silén 276. Juha 266 and Gugu 264.
Third heat with Horky and Kimmo doing 135 laps. Leo drove 144 laps and moved up in the order. Mario did a 143 heat. Horky still in the lead 424. Mario 417. Kimmo and Leo 415. Silén 410. Gugu 406. Douwe 403 and Gugu 397.
Fourth heat and Mario is hunting.
Horky is still in the lead but now sharing that with Mario 560 laps.
Leo is close 556. Silén 547. Gugu 546. Juha 541. Kimmo 524 and Douwe 520.
After doing half of the main it is still open who is gone win.
In the fifth heat Horky opened up a gap to get into the lead again. Horky 701. Mario 691. Leo 689. Juha 686. Silén 685. The rest are now out of the hunt for the top places.
Sixth heat and Horky looks set to win. Horky 846. Leo looks good in second 830. Mario in third 823. Behind them we find Silén 823. Juha 816. The rest are below 800 laps.
Seventh heat. Horky 988. Leo 976. A new third. Silén 966 and Mario 963.
Eight and last heat. Horky wins with 1124. Leo 1111 and Silén 1108.
