Sveslot round 1 at SSC 24:th of January
Trophies just waiting for an owner
SSC hosted the first round of six in the Sveslot Saloon cup. Four
classes were run. Saloon Junior, Saloon Senior, Junior Open 12 and Senior
Eurosport 1/24.
It was a small starting field where a lot of racers were missing. Despite
of that the competition was probably tougher than what some might have anticipated.
Qualifying
Saloon Junior
Mikael Palmqvist, Åtvidaberg, was superior and recorded a time that
was even quicker than what the senior racers were able to do. Mikaels best
lap was 4,304.
Second place went to Jimmy Månström, SSC, 4,502 and third Jonas
Wågman, Boxholm, 4,679.

Saloon Senior
Mikael Gustavsson, Boxholm, was quickest here with a 4,316 lap in front
of Michael Landrud, 4,350 and in third Torgny Nordgren, SSC, 4,365.

Open 12
Young Mikael Palmqvist yet again showed his pace and now it was a huge
margin, 3,763. Second place Jimmy Månström 4,260 and in third
Jonas Wågman 4,525.

Mikael Gustavsson were fastest, 3,336. Second place Kenth Jansson, SSC,
3,450. Third Ove Halvarsson, Enköping, 3,471.
