Suwon, South Korea
At the moment I don't have time for slot racing due to work
abroad. I am since one week in South Korea and so far the first
work week was seven days long. No break.
I worked night time and therefore had the possibility to take a walk
and brought my camera with me.
Suwon is a growing town with a population of over 1 million people.
Outside Suwon they are building a new city. That's right, not
expanding but building a new city. I saw a massive amount of houses
which I estimate will host somewhere between 25.000 - 50.000 people
and,
they build house after house and don't let anyone move in until they
have finalized the houses!
The Hwaseong fortress was built around the old parts of Suwon. The
fortress is part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

Something for all BMW lowers. Yes, I think? BMW has
expanded their business.
They do now have a BMW motel.
And that is not all......
They, (Bavaria Motor Werke B.M.W) also have their own bar as well.
At a bar you can drink beer. As you might now the German
Lövenbräu from Bavaria has been around since 1746 which is
quite a long
time.
Their competitors probably want to play on the same arena telling their
heritage and how long time they have been in the trade.
Seit 2007. You have to start somewhere.
But, I really wonder it that is BMW that is behind this motel
and bar. Maybe a fraud and the result of that could be that someone has
to go into jail.
Here are some basic rules. "I guess".
And here are some unlucky inmates who most likely committed fraud or
something else.
The unlucky one's are tortured.

Now we covered the subject of where to sleep, where to drink and what.
Let's go into food. You have to prepare for the upcoming holiday and
also to buy gifts.
What will your relatives, people you meet during the weekend expect and
look forward to as a gift.
Spam. Well, spam is food.
Not anything to take lightly as Monty Phyton did. And it's not computer
related either. Here in a nice gift pack including a good olive oil, or
residues from some dead organic life form.
Wishing something more spicy. Well here is a gift pack with some herbs
to go along it.
I might stop kidding now and move into the real connoisseur stuff.
Here is a really nice gift. A three pack with small fish to eat like
snacks. (You don't need to spit out the eyes)
Continuing the subject about BMW. I found a gas station where they different stations for LPG, Diesel and also one spot for... BMW.
Short break heading home
I finally left South Korea after been working way to much.I flew via Hong Kong where I had to leave the aircraft while they were cleaning it. Then the flight continued to Bangkok. This part of the way home took more than 9 hours from hotel in Suwon to the airport in Bangkok. Instead of hanging around in the airport for another six hours I left the airport and went to a hotel to sleep. I will take a later plane instead.
When I went to Korea the travel then to Suwon, door-to-door took over 24 hours so I felt that I should make a halt somewhere halfway when I headed home.
I went into a shopping mall today and had the camera with me of course.
The pictures are not great but, on one floor, at a corner they sold cars. I took a look at Ferraris and Lamborghinis among others
Hmm. 4 years of free drive. Four yours of free interest rate, Four years of free warranty. Four years of free factory service and finally, four years of free gasoline. A bargain. Where is the catch?
Maybe I should also take a look at the other stores.
A Lamborghini maybe, or a Ferrari.
No, to expensive in this shop. I think I walk to the hi-fi stores and check out the prices on Linn and McIntosh stuff instead.
I took a taxi back. Some taxis seem to be set up for track racing..
A good example of a taxi ready to hit the tarmac. Rear spoiler for best traction and "state of the art" exhaust system.
Other taxis seem to be better suit for town traffic.
A real Bumper Car. I guess this bloke more adopted his taxi for the correct circumstances.( Why don't cars in BTCC and STCC uses this technique, they sure look to need it form time to time)
Care for a snack?
Back to the subject of drinking and eating. I am not that found of fish. I once asked Janne Ekman, What is it in this food His reply was -" You don't want to know it!"
In this case it is not fish I can say. So then I should be safe or?...
Some snack of some kind. I guess. Two different kinds.
Better take a closer look.
I really, really don' think I am gone eat this.
Well, I did eat some. I preferred more one of the types but I did not care to remember which one and it's name.
With some help of dear Mr. Smirnoff I managed to eat some.
Maybe I should have tried some of those assorted small fish seen earlier....
