Being Translated Into English

Introduction

I initially wrote the article “The Uniforms of the Swedish Army” in Swedish. I have begun translating the article into English. So- far are the chapters about uniforms of the 1600s, 1700s and 1800s translated and the 1900s is being translated now. These chapters are now in English: • 1600s • 1700s • 1800s • 1900s, part 1 • 1900s, part 2 being translated • Nomenclature Describing uniforms of former days isn't easy. It is a lot of special terms, often very old terms - terms not used today. Translating this into the correct English terms isn't easy if you don't know the correct corresponding terms in English. If you spot English names or terms of uniform details that you suspect or know are incorrect, please contact me with suggested changes. Hans Högman
