MODELS THAT ARE NOT RPR CAPABLE
SCS PTC-IIe • Sorry, but no go. This model lacks the necessary RAM and CPU horsepower for RPR

Note 1) While v3.6 firmware is minimum for RPR support, suggest using the latest version. This is v4.1r as of June 2015

Note 2) Install latest firmware. If your modem randomly resets it is most likely due to two failing capacitors in the modem. Not aware of a detailed how-to document, but the fix appears to involve carefully installing two 470µf 25V caps. See this image. Recommend consulting with your dealer if you have any doubts or questions on this.
