Birth name Thomas Wayne Perkins aka Thomas Wayne

Thomas Wayne is the brother of Johnny Cash’s guitarist, Luther Perkins. He started in 1958 at Fernwood Records and in the same year was awarded a fifth place in the charts with "Tragedy". He also recorded with Mercury, Capehart, Phillips International and Santo Records. Thomas Wayne died on August 15, 1971 in a car accident.
