Some drivers fell asleep around the track.
Some drivers knew that they should hide their hands, feet
and so on
while others kept their eyes on what happened around.
But ..
then there were others who should have known better like
the one who got
his finger nails painted or found himself covered with
decals.

You did not have to sit around the track the whole time.

As a driver you could rest but as race director and/or organizer there were always things to do so that they could stay awake and do their job was astonishing and should not be forgot.
