All the cars
Fastest in the first minutes were the Finnish team but soon
the Swedish team, Ahead of Time, took over the lead and when the first
segment was over they had a 50 lap lead over Basically the Best who had
a 10 lap gap down to Smradosi.
The Fabulous Four did several motor changes in the first segment and
the U.K team T.I.T. had a motor which lacked top end speed.
In the second segment Smradosi pulled back laps and were only
one lap behind Basically the Best.
Further down the field there was only one lap difference between the
Finnish team and Cool Women Hot Men.
For many segment there were 20-30 laps only between the places four to
seven.
After the third segment we had a lunch break thanks to
Beverly. Our race director, Mr. Berra had a chance to relax some.
Ahead of Time were able to increase their lead in most of the
segments and got a huge margin to the teams behind. Being the only team
not having to change motor a single time in 12 hour increased the
distance even further despite having a rather tired motor during the
last segments.
Toward the evening Beverly served dinner during a short break.
In second and third place Basically the Best and Smradosi
fought. Smradosi were able to pull back 50 laps in the last two
segments but they would have needed another 14 laps to get into second
place.
Fabulous Four recovered from their poor start and climbed back from the
bottom to a fourth place.

2:nd place. Basically the Best. Esther Lestrell, Martin Nilsson, Lars
Harrysson and Mikael Gustavsson.
Winners. Ahead of Time. Anders Gustafson, Lasse Åberg, Michael
Landrud and Tobias Lestrell.

After the race was over almost all racers stayed at the track,
or rather the bar.
How late I don't know since I was one of the first to leave. I went to
bed at 2.30 in the morning.
