You strengthen that you focus on
Fairy Godmother will grant you ONE wish from a list of choices. You will have an abundance of that you’ll choose but she warns you that you will more or less lack at least one or more of the other things you did not choose.
What would you choose?…
1) Good health for the rest of your life?
(If you don’t choose this, you might be sickly or even disabled.)
2) More opportunities, chances?
(If you don’t choose this, you might lead a dull, humdrum, repetitive life. Oh, and never gamble! Ever…)
3) Fame and popularity - an exuberant social life?
(If you don’t choose this, you might be without friends, no one calls you etc.)
4) A work you like with the promise to be able to hold it until retirement?
(If you don’t choose this, you might lose your job you like or never find a fulfilling job.)
5) Freedom of individual expression, i.e. based on your personality traits have and do what you are able to achieve, as long as you don’t limit others’ right to the same freedom?
(If you don’t choose this, others - authorities - decide what you may say, do and have. If you rebel, you lose your freedom or even your life.)
6) A loving one-to-one relationship?
(If you don’t choose this, you might never find your true love or lose it.)
7) Luck, miracles?
(If you don’t choose this, you might never count on some “heaven-sent” circumstance or person which/who solves your problem from out of nowhere. Actually they will be nowhere near where you are. We do have problems now and then which we need help with, don’t we?)
8) 2 million bucks in your bank account?
(Well, it’s not just that you’ll never have that much money if you don’t choose this - the negative connotation is that you’ll always only have ‘just enough’ money.)
9) An adventurous life?
(If you are not an adventurous type, then you won’t mind doing the things you’ve always done as a content home-body. But if you love to travel or to climbing the mountains or to scuba-diving etc. then imagine sitting in the back-yard on a bench watching the grass grow.)
If you find it difficult to choose only one of these and begin to feel animosity toward Fairy Godmother, then go ahead and choose three of the above. She might still grant you anything that you strongly wish for. 🤩
